2017 is the sixth time that Ngā Tūmanako has performed at Te Matatini since their inception in 2005. The Tāmaki Makaurau Senior Kapa Haka Regionals Competition 2020 will feature Kapa Haka vying for a place to represent Tāmaki Makaurau at Te Matatini 2021.
