Nearby is the glacially-fed Baranof Lake. The primary attraction is the warm springs. It is occasionally referred to simply as Baranof. In addition to the natural pools, there is a bathhouse just up the hill from the docks that contains three rooms each with a huge tub. Located in Warm Springs Bay on the east side of Baranof Island, Baranof is a frequented stop for cruisers like us, fishing boats, and locals in Southeast.
