An undergraduate applied or computational math major could easily get admitted to a graduate computer science program because of common "core CS" courses. I find the latter more interesting and along with the broader principles of Computer Science I would learn from it (i.e. Our Master's graduates have gone into PhD programs in Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics and Neuroscience.
