The Kappa Delta Rho Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) charitable and educational corporation. Kappa Delta Sorority’s national philanthropy is Prevent Child Abuse America. Our chapter is part of a national sisterhood with more than 230,000 members and 159 chapters across the country. It was actually founded by a KD woman, Donna J. Over 430 members call the Zeta Gamma Chapter at the U of A "home". An organization built on scholarship, service, sisterhood, and social success, we work each day towards personal growth and the betterment of our Clemson community. Kappa Delta offers its alumnae never-ending opportunities for personal growth in a context of unfailing friendship, acceptance and encouragement. The American Cancer Society was chosen as the official philanthropy of Kappa Delta Chi because we believe that cancer awareness, early detection and cancer research are extremely important health issues in our communities. Contributions from alumnae, collegians and friends of Kappa Delta enable the foundation to fund scholarships and educational opportunities, provide internships and leadership training, and support our national philanthropies and numerous local community outreach programs. Kappas give back to the Community in a variety of ways.
