Welcome to Rutgers Intramural Sports! All intramural team sports require a referee to fairly officiate the games. These intramural COVID-19 research awards are intended to build research teams focused on COVID-19 related research and to provide support for the rapid acquisition of preliminary data and proof-of-concept evidence for extramural funding applications. This is the perfect way to enhance your Rutgers-Camden experience. INTRAMURAL SPORTS. Within our facilities and programs, you will find many opportunities to play, get fit, socialize, compete or just have fun! Potential new officials are expected to attend up to 6 hours of training (A, B & C Clinics) that will cover procedures, sport rules, mechanics and scrimmages. 8000 students participate annually in the Intramural Sports Program; Alll skill levels are welcome to compete in your favorite sport or in a sport you are trying for the first time ; Sports include soccer, basketball, flag football, softball, street hockey, volleyball, ultimate frisbee and more. Match default times are Mondays at 9pm EST.

A full slate of individual and team intramural activities is sponsored by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation at Rutgers-Newark. Our Intramural Sports Program consists of over 50 leagues with more than 8,000 participants per year. Operating Status Update: All recreation centers are closed and programs have been canceled (including summer camp) until further notice. Visit our status page for updates as well as a list of virtual programs and services. All intramural team sports are officiated by Rutgers University students.
